Not that it wasn't nice earning just $14.62 less than twice my normal paycheck, this business of doing overtime while a part-time employee can be a bit taxing. I look like a raccoon. My self-imposed insomnia is my own fault, of course.

Still, I'll be earning extra hours, just not doing ALL that much more than usual. So that'll give me extra money to spend on Desert Eagles aviation classes at college. Yeah, I'm going back.

The Army recruiters called today. I wonder who was to blame for that, given that I told them not to call back until 2008 a little over two years ago. But given that I'd all but made up my mind to call them anyway a few weeks ago, I'm not all that perturbed. I think a warrant officer program to become a chopper pilot would be a good career for me.

Saw Lord of War. Good movie. That's all I can really say about it without giving anything away.

The stitches are gone. Bought myself a nice pair of scissors and got to work. Came out easier than I expected. Snipped the knot and gave the rest a tug, came out in one go. There was a lot less of it than I thought there'd be, so that was a plus. I guess most of them did dissolve after all.

Gonna start working out at the Y. I'll figure out how to deal with the itch.

I'm going to stop rambling and get some gorramn sleep. Oh yeah, I've started watching Firefly.
